ESPN’s Field Yates reports that the Indianapolis Colts brought in former Brownsย WR/KR Josh Cribbs for a workout this week.
Cribbs, 31, hasn’t found any reported interest in the past year before this, but the Colts have clearly been looking for kick-return help in recent weeks.
Cribbs spent the first eight years of his career with Cleveland before joining the Jets last year. He wound up appearing inย six games for New York and caught two passes for six yards to go along with 586 total return yards.
Unfortunately for Cribbs, he sufferedย a torn pectorals muscle and was later placedย on season-endingย injured reserve.
