Colts HC Frank Reich announced Friday that WR T.Y. Hilton suffered a non-contact cal injury that could end up costing him 3-4 weeks.
“With the information that we have, generally speaking, it’s a 3-4 week injury,” Reich said, per Zak Keefer.
Reich did, however, say that Hilton is not expected to require surgery for this issue and they haven’t discussed placing him on injured reserve.
The Colts will turn to Zach Pascal, Deon Cain and Parris Campbell in place of Hilton.
Hilton, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Colts back in 2012. He’s currently in the fifth year of his six-year, $65.547 million contract that included $39 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $13 million and $14,542,000 over the final two years of the agreement.
In 2019, Hilton has appeared in six games for the Colts and caught 32 passes for 360 yards receiving and five touchdowns.
