Cowboys Sign DT Christian Ringo To Practice Squad

The Dallas Cowboys have signed DT Christian Ringo to their practice squad on Wednesday, according to Brandon George.

The Cowboys’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OT Jake Campos
  2. RB Jordan Chunn
  3. WR Lance Lenoir
  4. CB Donovan Olumba
  5. LB Kyle Queiro
  6. RB Bo Scarbrough
  7. S Treston Decoud
  8. G Cody Wichmann
  9. DB Tyree Robinson
  10. DT Christian Ringo

Ringo, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Packers back in 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was later signed to their practice squad and eventually brought back on a future/reserve contract.

The Packers re-signed Ringo to a one-year, exclusive rights contract last year before cutting him loose coming out of the preseason. The Bengals later claimed him off of waivers only to waive him a week later.

Ringo caught on with the Lions in September and played out the season in Detroit. The Lions re-signed him to an exclusive rights deal this offseason only to waive him at the start of the regular season.

In 2017, Ringo appeared in six games for the Lions and recorded three tackles and no sacks.
