Cowboys Waive CB Dax Swanson

The Dallas Cowboys announced Monday that they’ve placed CB Dax Swanson on waivers.

Swanson, 25, signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Sam Houston State back in 2013. However, he’s played for a number of teams since entering the league including the 49ers, Patriots, Buccaneers, Giants and Dolphins.

Miami signed Swanson to their practice squad mid-season and later brought him back on a future/reserve contract. However, he was cut loose in the days leading up to free agency.

The Cowboys signed him to a contract back in July.

Swanson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
