Cowboys Waive WR Chris Boyd From I.R. With Settlement

The Dallas Cowboys waived WR Chris Boyd from the injured reserve list on Monday with an injury settlement.

Boyd, 23, originally signed on wit the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt back in May of 2014. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason last year, but he later signed a future/reserve contract with Dallas.

During his two years at Vanderbilt, Boyd caught 81 passes for 1,247 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns.

Boyd has yet to appear in an NFL game.
