Dolphins Signing RB Jordan Howard For Two Years, $10M

According to Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins are closing in on a deal for former Eagles RB Jordan Howard.

Adam Schefter reports it’s a two-year, $10 million deal for Howard.

Howard finished out his rookie contract last year in Miami after being traded from Chicago. He also would fill a major hole at the position for the Dolphins.

Howard, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bears back in 2016. He just finished the final year of his four-year, $2.588 million contract and made a base salary of $720,000 for the 2019 season.

In 2019, Howard appeared in 10 games for the Eagles and rushed for 525 yards on 119 carries (4.4 YPC) and six touchdowns. He also caught 10 passes for 69 yards receiving and a touchdown.
