Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that the Dolphins are promoting WR Rashawn Scott to their active roster on Wednesday.
Scott, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in May. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad.
During his college career, Scott caught 91 passes for 1,247 yards receiving and eight touchdowns over the course of four seasons.
