ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Miami Dolphins have re-signed DE Cameron Wake to a four-year deal worth $49 million and includes $20 million guaranteed.
The Dolphins and Wake have reportedly been in talks regarding a possible extension and Wake even made an early appearance at offseason workouts, before electing to leave. The Dolphins are obviously fully aware of the fact that Wake is their best defensive weapon at this point, and almost all of their pass rush will be generated by him or by the match ups he creates for others, so getting him under contract was a no-brainer.
