Dolphins Re-Sign ERFA OT Zach Sterup

The Miami Dolphins have officially re-signed exclusive rights free agent OT Zach Sterup on Friday, according to his agent.

Sterup, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Nebraska back in 2017 but received an invite to participate in the Chiefs’ rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. The Chiefs later signed him to a three-year, $1.62 million contract.

Unfortunately, Sterup was waived him coming out of the preseason. He had a brief stint with the Jets before signing on to the Browns’ practice squad.

The Dolphins signed Sterup off of the Browns’ practice squad during the 2017 season and he’s remained in Miami ever since.

In 2018, Sterup appeared in six games for the Dolphins and made one start.
