Dolphins Officially Cut 32 Players

The Miami Dolphins announced the following roster moves as they cut their roster down 53 players.

Other Moves:

Escobar, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $4.21 million rookie contract with the Cowboys and was testing the open market for the first time in his career when he signed a one-year. $885,000 contract that included $80,000 guaranteed with the Chiefs last year.

Unfortunately, Kansas City elected to cut Escobar loose coming out of the preseason. Escobar had a brief stint with the Ravens last year before signing a futures contract with the Browns this past January.

Cleveland cut him loose back in April and he later signed on with the Dolphins soon after.

In 2016, Escobar appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys and caught four passes for 30 yards receiving and one touchdown.
