According to Mike Garafolo, the Dolphins are signing former Eagles LB Kamu Grugier-Hill to a one-year deal.
Grugier-Hill should have a chance to compete for a starting role in Miami in 2020.
Grugier-Hill, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Patriots back in 2016. He lasted just a few months in New England before he was waived and later claimed by the Eagles.
Grugier-Hill just finished the final year of his four-year, $2.61 million contract and made a base salary of $720,000 for the 2019 season. He’s in line to be an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
In 2019, Grugier-Hill appeared in 10 games for the Eagles and recorded 23 tackles and one fumble recovery.
