Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Dolphins brought in free agent OT Sam Young for a workout on Friday.
This comes after the news that the Dolphins placed RT Julien Davenport on injured reserve.
Young, 31, is a former sixth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2010. He lasted just one year with Dallas before being claimed off of waivers by the Bills.
Young had a brief stint with the Jaguars before signing on with the Dolphins for the 2015 seasons. He’s was on and off of Miami’s roster before eventually signing on with the 49ers last month.
However, San Francisco released Young coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Young appeared in 12 games for the Dolphins and made one start.
