On Monday, Duke QB Daniel Jones informed HC David Cutcliffe that he is declaring for the 2019 NFL Draft, according to Stephen Wiseman.
Dane Brugler mentions that Jones has received preliminary “first round” grades from several teams and could be selected early in round one.
During his college career at Duke, Jones threw for, 8,201 yards while completing 59.9 percent of his passes to go along with 52 touchdowns and 29 interceptions over the course of 36 games and three seasons.

My guess is the Gettleman and Putz Shurmur search train already has Daniel Jones as one of it’s main stops. You know Duke HC David Cutcliffe had his hands in the mentoring of both Manning’s. That says it all! And maybe, just maybe the GMEN Brass will take a stop at Kyle Shurmur. That’s an extreme possibility. Why not make the GMEN LOSING a family affair?
And now I would like to pay homage to the Maras, Tisch, Gettleman and Putz Shurmur. Your franchise is nothing but GARBAGE, to say the UTMOST. the whole season was a DISGRACE from the start of week 1. The GMEN FANS should be REFUNDED for every ticket, merchandise and memorabilia purchased. Did anyone notice? That yesterday’s season finale and GMEN home game, looked more like a Cowboy’s home game! Cameras constantly showed Cowboys fans cheering their team on in field level seats. The cameras were also fixated on Jerry Jones and his entourage. It was a frigging DISGRACE as a GMEN FAN to witness this first hand.
John Mara was shown one time and the box seat window frame was blocking his stupid looking face. Where were Mara, Tisch and Gettleman at the end? Nowhere to be found that’s where. As for Tisch, he is nothing but an empty suit. Tisch along with the Maras should sell the franchise to someone who actually knows football. And wants to put a productive product out there every season for the GMEN to actually believe in and root for every game.
As for Gettleman’s anointed one pick Saquon Barkley. I hope you OVERRATED buffoons took notice on your future. With the exception of the 68 yard draw play. In three consecutive weeks the Cowboys, Colts and Titans showed the BLUEPRINT for stopping Barkley. BELIEVE IT! Quentin Nelson should have been the pick. PERIOD! It just shows the GMEN Brass don’t know “jack squat” about building a team. They all clamored especially John Mara, “the offense is broken”. The offense always starts with a top notch offensive line and these buffoons go and draft a running back. In a draft that had loads of talent at running back (Chubb, Freeman, Lindsay, Michel, Penny, etc.) Question? How did Quentin Nelson turn out for the Colts? Did you notice the offensive series? When the GMEN were up 4 points with 3:09 to play and the GMEN defense forced a turnover that gave the GMEN the ball on the Cowboy’s 20. Manning and Barkley were a JOKE to watch! Get real cleats Saquon and stop acting like you’re in a fashion show. The result of that possession was a FG. Yet! The Media and GMEN brass will blame the defense. When the offense could have put the game away. As for HC Putz Shurmur, he is nothing but a LOSER. PERIOD! Every week the cameras are on him, and he looks OVERMATCHED and BEFUDDLED kind of like a white Todd Bowles. Putz Shurmur should be FIRED. If McAdope won 3 games with no wide receivers and no one named the anointed one Saquon Barkley. McAdope achieved more with a lot less and at least he had the courage to want to move on from this LOSER Elisha Manning. Next season, with the same nonsense should seal Putz Shurmur and Elisha Manning fates. Then it will be a whole new chapter of LOSING.
P.S. Any NY FANS notice that NY is the largest money market for all four major sports. And the NY teams for all four major sports groups are GARBAGE! With the only exception being the Yankees.
I agree the Giants owners and Jerry Reese destroyed the franchise… I also loved Nelson and I also agree you build a team from the inside out. I will also say I love Barkley as a player and a person and with no OL he broke all the Giants rookie rushing records. I will trash the GM for wasting money on RB stuart did he even play??? When you have as many holes as the Giants had last year and two years and millions left in Eli they needed to fix the OL look at what Mack did in Indy with Nelson on the left side… Now they still need OL , a pass rush and a QB…. I am not sure there is a NFL star QB in this draft certainly no one to go crazy and move up for, so I have no idea what direction they will go. We will see what they do in FA to get some Idea what they are thinking.
