The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Gerry, 25, was drafted by the Eagles in the fifth round out of Nebraska in 2017. He’s entering the final year of his four-year, $2.6 million rookie deal and is set to make a base salary of $735,000 for the 2020 season.
In 2019, Gerry appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles and recorded 77 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, one fumble recovery, two interceptions including one returned for a touchdown, and five pass defenses. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 40 linebacker out of 92 qualifying players.
