Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Eagles DT Mike Patterson has been diagnosed with viral pneumonia and has been hospitalized.
This latest health issue has nothing to do with Patterson’s recent medical history, the which required brain surgery during the offseason after suffering seizures last year. Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder assured that Patterson was “doing fine” and was in stable condition.
