Eagles Interested In Albert Haynesworth?

Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports recently interviewed Philadelphia Eagle’s GM Howie Roseman who mentioned that he’s ready to get the offseason started.

We need to get this [labor dispute] settled,” Roseman said. “I’m ready for some action — right now.

An Eagles source told Silver that the team could be targeting Plaxico Burress, Reggie Bush or Albert Haynesworth.

There has been some talk that the Eagles could be one of the landing spots for Haynesworth once his time in Washington is finally over. Philadelphia brought in Haynesworth’s former defensive line coach, Jim Washburn, this offseason who is reported to be “convinced he can get the most out of Haynesworth” and “wants him badly.”

The real issue here is that he’s still under contract with the Redskins and there’s still no indication as to whether or not he’ll be released.
