Philadelphia’s practice squad now consists of:
- WR Marcus Green
- DT Bruce Hector
- QB Kyle Lauletta
- G Sua Opeta
- TE Josh Perkins
- RB Boston Scott
- LB Alex Singleton
- WR Greg Ward
- TE Alex Ellis
James, 23, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Illinois back in May of last year. He was waived with an injury designation during final roster cuts with an injury designation.
Minnesota cut him with an injury settlement and re-signed him to their practice squad in October of 2018 and promoted him to their active roster a month later where he finished out the season.
He was among the Vikings’ final roster cuts, again, at the end of this preseason but signed with the Eagles’ practice squad a few days later.
In 2018, James appeared in three games but did not record any statistics.
