The Philadelphia Eagles officially signed TE Joshua Perkins to a futures deal on Monday for the 2018 season.
As of now, the Eagles have signed seven players to futures deals including:
- WR Marquess Wilson
- CB Elie Bouka
- P Cameron Johnston
- TE Adam Zaruba
- DB Elie Bouka
- C Jon Toth
- TE Joshua Perkins
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Perkins, 24, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Washington back in 2016. He made the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was, unfortunately, cut him loose coming out of the preseason last year and later signed to their practice squad.
In 2016, Perkins appeared in eight games for the Falcons and caught three passes for 42 yards receiving and one touchdown.
