Adam Caplan reports that the Eagles are signing former AAF QB Luis Perez to a one-year contract on Monday.
Philadelphia brought Perez in for a workout and it appears as though everything checked out.
Perez, 24, wound up signing on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M-Commerce back in May of last year. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract, but was waived coming out of the preseason.
Perez had a brief stint on the Rams’ practice squad.
In 2019, Perez threw for 1,460 passing yards while completing 52.3 percent of his passes to go along with five touchdowns and six interceptions. He also rushed for 75 yards.
