Eagles Waive WR Rasheed Bailey

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Wednesday that they’ve placed WR Rasheed Bailey on waivers.

Bailey, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Delaware Valley back in May of 2015. The Eagles signed him to a three-year, $1.575 million rookie contract, but he was later among the team’s final roster cuts at the start of the 2015 season.

The Jaguars added him to their practice squad midseason and later brought him back on a future/reserve contract. Jacksonville later waived Bailey a few weeks ago before he was later claimed off of waivers by the Chargers.

San Diego cut Bailey loose with an injury designation as they got down to the 53-player limit last August and he signed a future/reserve contract with the Eagles this past January.

Bailey has yet to appear in an NFL game.
