The Falcons announced they have placed WR Calvin Ridley and CB Desmond Trufant on injured reserve.
Atlanta also signed LB Ahmad Thomas and CB Jamar Taylor to the active roster while adding LB Quentin Poling and TE Carson Meier to the practice squad.

Ridley, 24, is a former first-round pick of the Falcons back in 2018. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $10,900,732 contract that includes a $6,007,804 signing bonus.
Ridley’s contract includes a fifth-year option for the Falcons to pick up in 2021.
In 2019, Ridley appeared in 13 games and caught 63 passes for 866 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. He also rushed for 34 yards.
Trufant, 29, is a former first-round pick of the Falcons back in 2013. He played out the final year of his four-year, $8.165 million contract when the Falcons picked up his fifth-year option worth $8.026 million for the 2017 season.
Atlanta later signed Trufant to a five-year, $69 million extension with nearly $42 million guaranteed in 2017. He stands to make a base salary of $10.75 million for the 2020 season.
In 2019, Trufant has appeared in nine games for the Falcons and recorded 18 tackles, four interceptions and seven passes defended.
