The Atlanta Falcons announced that they have placed S William Moore on injured reserve with designation to return on Tuesday.

Moore, 29, signed a five-year, $29.512 million contract that included $14 million guaranteed with the Falcons back in March of last year. He’ll make a base salary of $3.5 million for the 2014 and 2015 season before that figure increases to $4.5 million and $6.25 million in the final two years of the agreement.
Over the course of four games this season, Moore has recorded 16 tackles and a forced fumble. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 65 safety in the league out of 77 qualifying players.
