The Atlanta Falcons announced Tuesday that they have waived P Matt Wile with an injury settlement and re-signed OL John Wetzel to the active roster.
- The Falcons also signed tight end Carson Meier to their practice squad.

- QB Danny Etling
- OL Sean Harlow
- DT Jacob Tuioti-Mariner
- DT Justin Zimmer
- WR Brandon Powell
- OT Lukayus McNeil
- LB Ahmad Thomas
- TE Carson Meier
Wetzel, 27, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Oakland before catching on with the Cowboys mid-season.
Wetzel spent a few years with the Cowboys before having brief stints with the Colts and Cardinals. He signed a one-year deal with the Falcons this past April has been on and off of their roster this season.
In 2018, Wetzel played in eight games for the Cardinals, starting five.
