The Atlanta Journal Constitution first reported that the Atlanta Falcons have re-signed RB Jason Snelling who reported earlier to have interest from the St Louis Rams and the New York Giants.
The Rams later denied that they had any interest in Snelling and the Giants were most likely using Snelling as a negotiating tactic to get Ahmad Bradshaw to lower his asking price.
Snelling is another veteran player that has been effected by the overwhelming number of free agents this year. Atlanta adds some more insurance in case Michael Turner goes down with another injury but this move will no doubt have an impact on the amount of touches that rookie Jacquizz Rodgers will see in 2011.
