Falcons, Redskins, & Colts Reportedly Interested In RB Justin Forsett

Aaron Wilson reports that free agent RB Justin Forsett has interest from the Falcons, Redskins, and Colts.

  • According to Wilson, Forsett has maintained interest in going back to the Ravens and feeling is mutual. However, Forsett plans to explore his options in the coming days.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media previously reported that Forsett has an interest market developing for his services and mentioned that the Saints and Redskins were both ready to make a play for him.

Of course, the Saints locked up Mark Ingram to a four-year contract, which takes them out of the running for Forsett.

Forsett, 29, excelled when assuming lead-back duties in Baltimore after Ray Rice was released at the beginning of the year, and is in a great position to secure a multi-year contract in the coming months.

In 2014, Forsett compiled career-highs with 1,266 rushing yards, eight touchdowns, and five games where he totalled over 100-yards. Pro Football Focus has Forsett rated as the No. 6 running back last season out of 57 qualifying players.

We have Forsett listed as the No. 57 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
