Falcons Release TE Luke Stocker

The Falcons announced on Monday they have released TE Luke Stocker

Stocker is the latest Falcons player to get a pink slip ahead of the new league year. His release frees up $2.6 million in cap space, per Vaughn McClure.

Stocker, 31, is a former fourth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2011. He was in the final year of his three-year, $4.8 million contract and set to make a base salary of $1.7 million for the 2017 season when the Buccaneers elected to cut him loose during the 2017 season.

The Titans quickly signed him to a two-year contract and Stocker finished out the year in Tennessee. He signed a two-year deal with the Falcons in 2019

In 2019, Stocker appeared in 15 games for the Falcons and caught eight passes for 53 yards receiving.
