Falcons Sign LB Jordan Tripp To One-Year Deal

Vaughn McClure of ESPN, citing a league source, reports that the Falcons have signed LB Jordan Tripp to a one-year contract on Tuesday.

Tripp, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in Miami before he was waived and later signed to the Jaguars’ practice squad.

Jacksonville, unfortunately, cut Tripp loose coming out of the preseason last year and he later signed on to the Seahawks’ practice squad. Seattle promoted him to their active roster before eventually placing him on injured reserve and later cutting him loose with an injury settlement.

The Packers signed Tripp to a contract in December of last year and re-signed him to a one-year, $690,000 deal this past March. However, he was, unfortunately, cut loose this past weekend.

In 2016, Tripp appeared in nine games and recorded two tackle for the Seahawks and Packers.
