Falcons Sign TE Brian Vogler & K Mike Meyer To Futures Deals

The Atlanta Falcons officially signed K Mike Meyer and TE Brian Vogler to future/reserve contracts on Tuesday.

The Falcons have now signed three players futures deals including:

  1. WR Anthony DableĀ (NFLTR)
  2. K Mike Meyer
  3. TE Brian Vogler

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Vogler, 24, originally signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama back in May of 2015. He lasted just a few months in Chicago before he waived during the preseason. Vogler was later signed to the Colts practice squad towards the end of the 2015 season.

During his college career at Alabama, Vogler caught 17 passes for 125 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of 34 games.
