Falcons Waive RB Cyrus Gray With An Injury Settlement

The Atlanta Falcons announced that they’ve waived RB Cyrus Gray on Monday with an injury settlement.

Gray, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2012. He spent three years in Kansas City before he was waived in July of last year.

Unfortunately for Gray, he wound up sitting out the entire 2015 season before signing a future/reserve contract with the Broncos this past January. Although, his stay in Denver was brief, as they elected to place Gray on waivers a few weeks ago.

Gray just recently caught on with the Falcons.

In 2014, Gray appeared in nine games for the Chiefs and ran for 31 yards on eight carries (3.9 YPC) and scored one rushing touchdown.
