Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that former Eagles OCย Pat Shurmur is set to interview with the Vikings in the coming days.
Interestingly enough, Rapoport mentions that the only job opening the Vikings currently have is RBs coach.
Jim Thomasย reported earlier in the dayย thatย theย Rams are interested in former Shurmur forย their passing game coordinator.
Shurmur, 50, has been the Eagles’ offensive coordinator since 2013 and was named interim head coach following the dismissal of Chip Kelly. His one appearance as head coach finished in a 35-30 victory over the Giants.
The Eagles officially released him from his contract on Wednesday.
In 2015, the Eagles offense ranked No. 12 in passing yards, No. 14 in rushing yards, No. 12 in yards-per-game and No. 13 in points-per-game.
