Former Jets CB Dee Milliner officially passed through waivers unclaimed on Thursday and is now an unrestricted free agent.
No one claimed Milliner a few weeks ago when the Jets waived him with an injury designation, so this shouldn’t come as a big surprise.
Milliner, 24, was taken with the No. 9 overall pick back in 2013. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $12.66 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $675,000 for the 2016 season when the Jets waived him injured reserve on Wednesday.
In 2015, Milliner appeared in five games for the Jets, but recorded just a single tackle and no interceptions.
