Four Clemson Players Entering 2017 Draft Including QB Deshaun Watson & WR Mike Williams

Clemson HC Dabo Swinney announced at a Tuesday press conference that several juniors on the team will be turning pro next year and they plan to honor them on Senior Day this Saturday.

According to Swinney, the group of players entering the NFL draft includes QB Deshaun Watson, RB Wayne Gallman, WR Artavis Scott and WR Mike Williams.

“All of those guys are planning on moving on,” Swinney said, via TheState.com.

Watson and Williams are the most notable of the group, given that they’re considered to be first-round talents.

During his college career at Clemson, Watson has completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 8,072 yards to go along with 73 touchdowns and 25 interceptions over the course of 32 games. Watson has also contributed 1,670 yards rushing and 19 touchdowns on the ground.

As for Williams, he’s caught 131 passes for 2,120 yards receiving (16.2 YPR) and 15 touchdowns over the course of 33 games.
