Greg Auman reports that free agent OT Leonard Wester visited with the Chiefs and Lions last week.
According to Auman, there’s still a chance Wester could return to the Buccaneers, but he is drawing interest from other teams.
Wester, 26, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri Western State. He managed to make the 53-man roster as a rookie and played out the final year of his three-year contract in Tampa Bay.
The Buccaneers declined to tender Wester an offer as a restricted free agent and he has been testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2018, Wester appeared in all 16 games for the Buccaneers and played 118 total snaps.
