Giants Claim CB Tay Glover-Wright Off Waivers From Eagles

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Giants have claimedย CB Tay Glover-Wright off of waivers from the Eagles on Sunday.

Glover-Wright, 25, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Utah State back in 2014. He was waived during the preseason, but later signed a future/reserve contract with the Packers.

Unfortunately, Glover-Wright was among the Packersโ€™ final roster cuts at the start of the season. He later signed to the Coltsโ€™ practice squad and was eventually promoted to the active roster to close the year.

Glover-Wright was on and off of the Colts’ practice squad last year and actually worked out for the Eagles last December but wasn’t signed to a contract.

The Eagles signed him to a one-year contract a month ago before waiving him on Saturday.

In 2015, Glover-Wright appeared in two games for the Colts after being called up from their practice squad.
