Ellison, 31, was drafted by the Vikings in the fourth round out of USC in 2012. He played out his four-year, $2.4 million rookie contract that included a $300,584 signing bonus.
The Vikings re-signed Ellison to a one-year, $2.25 million contract back in 2016. From there, he agreed to a four-year, $18 million deal with the Giants in 2017.
Ellison stands to make a base salary of $4.97 million for the 2020 season.
In 2019, Ellison appeared in 10 games for the Giants and caught 18 passes for 167 yards receiving and one touchdown.
