According to James Kratch, the Giants have promoted Sย Andrew Adams from their practice squad to their active roster and waived CB Michael Hunter in a corresponding roster move.
- Ralph Vacchiano reports that Hunter could be re-signed to the Giants’ practice squad on Monday once he clears waivers.
Adams, 23, signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Connecticut. He is set to make a base salary ofย $450,000 for the 2016 season to go along with anotherย $540,000 next year.

The Giants unfortunately waived Hunter coming out of the preseason before later signing him to their practice squad.
During his college career, Hunter recorded 98 tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, four interceptions, a forced fumble and 12 pass defenses.
