Giants Promote CB Chandler Fenner To Active Roster

ESPN’s Adam Caplan reported earlier this morning that the Giants have signed CB Chandler Fenner to their active roster from the team’s practice squad.

  • Caplan adds that this move is due to the recent injuries the Giants sustained at cornerback.

New York signed Fenner back in early August, but he was later cut as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players. Fenner would later sign on the Giants’ practice squad on multiple occasions, so it would not be surprising in the least to see this be a temporary move.

Fenner, 24, signed on with the Chiefs as undrafted free agent out of Holy Cross back in 2012. At Holy Cross, he recorded 90 tackles, two tackles for a loss, and four pass defenses over the course of three seasons.
