The New York Giants officially released OT Troy Kropog and placed WR Ben Edwards on waivers Friday, according to the NFL transactions release.
Kropog, 29, is a former fourth round pick of the Titans back in 2009. He spent three years with the team before he was placed waivers at the start of the 2012 season. Since then, Kropog has played for the Jaguars, Vikings and Redskins before joining the Giants on a future/reserve deal back in January.
Kropog hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2012 season when he was playing for the Vikings.
