Giants Sign Third-Round OLB Lorenzo Carter

The New York Giants have signed third-round OLB Lorenzo Carter to a four-year contract on Thursday, according to Pat Leonard.

This is the first Giants’ draft pick to sign his rookie contract.

Carter, 22, was selected with the No. 66 overall pick in this year’s draft by the Giants. According to OverTheCap.com, he receives a four-year, $3,509,804 contract that includes a $1,049,804 signing bonus.

During his four-year college career at Georgia, Carter recorded 166 tackles, 21.5 tackles for a loss, 14 sacks, six forced fumbles, six recoveries, a pass defense and a defensive touchdown over the course of 48 games played.
