Adam Schefter reports that the Giants are signing OLB Kyler Fackrell to a one-year, $4.6 million deal.
This marks the second Packers’ linebacker the Giants have signed in as many days after bringing in Blake Martinez last night.
Fackrell, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Packers back in 2016. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3.1 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2019, Fackrell appeared in all 16 games for the Packers and recorded 21 tackles and a sack. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 90 edge rusher out of 107 qualifying players.
