According to various reports, the Giants have tendered contracts to four exclusive rights free agents for the 2019 season including K Aldrick Rosas.
The full list includes:
- C Jon Halapio (Jordan Raanan)
- OLB Jordan Williams (Jordan Raanan)
- FB Elijhaa Penny (Jordan Raanan)
- K Aldrick Rosas (Ryan Dunleavy)
Exclusive rights contracts are one-year deals worth the minimum salary based on a player’s NFL experience (less than three years).
Rosas, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Oregon back 2017. He was unfortunately waived by Tennessee coming out of the preseason and never signed to a team’s practice squad during the regular season.
The Giants signed Rosas to a futures contract for the 2018 season and he went on to have a Pro Bowl season.
In 2018, Rosas converted 32 of 33 field goal attempts (97 percent) to go along with 31 of 32 extra point tries (96.9 percent)
