Mike Chappell of FOX 50 has confirmed that Colts QB Jacoby Brissett suffered an MCL sprain during Sunday’s game and the team is still waiting for the results of his MRI.
Chappell adds that Brissett has yet to be ruled out for Week 10’s game against the Dolphins.
Brissett was attempting a throw when G Quenton Nelson got knocked into his knee.
Brissett, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2016. The Patriots traded Brisset to the Colts coming out of the preseason in 2017 in return for WR Phillip Dorsett.
Brissett was in the final year of his four-year, $3.411 million contract when he agreed to a two-year deal worth $30 million that included $20 million guaranteed at signing with the Colts back in September.
eight games and completed 64.8 percent of his passes for 1,649 yards, 14 touchdowns and three interceptions. He has also rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown.
