The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Tuesday that they’ve re-signed S Doug Middleton to their practice squad.

Here’s the Jaguars updated practice squad:

  1. RB Nathan Cottrell
  2. LB Nate Evans
  3. LB Joe Giles-Harris
  4. WR Terry Godwin
  5. WR Josh Hammond
  6. T Kc McDermott
  7. T Austen Pleasants
  8. DT Caraun Reid
  9. G Tre’Vour Wallace-Simms
  10. WR Trey Quinn
  11. TE Eric Saubert
  12. DB Josh Nurse
  13. OT Jared Hilbers
  14. K Aldrick Rosas
  15. S Doug Middleton

Middleton, 26, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Appalachian State back in 2016. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later signed to the team’s practice squad.

Middleton was on and off of the Jets roster over the next two years before eventually catching on with the Dolphins last year.

Since then, Middleton has had brief stints with the Jaguars and Titans. The Jaguars released him on Monday.

In 2019, Middleton appeared in three games for the Jaguars and Dolphins and recorded two tackles.
