Jeremy Maclin Dealing With A Right Hip Flexor

Geoff Mosher tweets that Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin has been diagnosed with a right hip flexor. Mosher adds that Maclin is “pretty sore” following the injury.

The Eagles will monitor Maclin throughout the week before determining his status for Week 2’s game against the Patriots. At this point in time, it hard to say whether or not he is really in danger of missing any time, but this will be one of the topics that we monitor throughout the week. DeSean Jackson could see an expanded role in Week 2.
