Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the New York Jets have locked up LB David Harris to a four-year deal worth $36 million deal which includes $29.5 million of that guaranteed.
Harris was designate with the teams franchise tag back in February but this move will give them more cap space in the interim.
Since being drafted in 2007 Harris has proven to be on the teams most consistent linebackers and is apparently part of the teams longterm direction.
