Manish Mehta of The New York Daily News reports that the New York Jets have no plans on trading QB Tim Tebow in the coming days.
With Tuesday being the deadline for trades around the NFL, various teams have started inquiring about players, but the Jets are not one of them. Mehta’s sources mentioned that the team is not looking to shop their backup quarterback.
Rex Ryan has said that he would like to give Tebow more snaps moving forward, and keeping Tebow at least allows them to make a change at some point during the season.
