Jets RB Shonn Greene confirmed that he was evaluated for a concussion during Week 9’s win against the Buffalo Bills.
“I’m good. I got dinged up a little bit, as I started going to the sidelines I started feeling very well,” Greene said. “I had to go through an evaluation, come in and stuff like that. I could’ve came back, but in the end though (with the score the way it was) it didn’t really make sense to go out there.”
Greene hasn’t been able to put together much of a consistent effort this year which has forced the team to look to other options like LaDainian Tomlinson and Joe McKnight. Despite passing the concussion tests, there’s still a chance that Greene could miss Week 10’s game against the Patriots but he appears to be fine. Just something to monitor if you’re forced to rely on him in your fantasy league or happen to be a Jets fan.
