The New York Jets announced Friday that they’ve re-signed long-snapper Tanner Purdum to a new contract.
Purdum, 32, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Baker back in 2009. He lasted just a few months with the Chiefs before he was waived during the preseason.
The Jets later signed him to a contract in 2010 and he’s spent the past seven years in New York.
In 2016, Purdum appeared in all 16 games for the Jets.
