Jets Sign LS Josh Latham

The New York Jets announced Tuesday that they’ve signed LS Josh Latham to a contract.

It’s likely that this is a future/reserve signing for the Jets, which is essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Latham, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Sacramento State last year. He played some defensive end and fullback during his college career.

This will be Latham’s first opportunity with an NFL team. Although, he has worked out for a few teams including the Packers and Lions and reportedly had an offer from the Buccaneers before agreeing to a deal with the Jets.
