Jets Sign OL Willie Colon To A One-Year Deal

Jason La Canfora reports that the Jets have reached an agreement with former Steelers OL Willie Colon on a one-year deal.

Adam Caplan reports that Colon will receive a one-year deal worth $1.2 million.

New Jets GM John Idzik has done pretty well today adding two players with good upside for a reasonable price.

Colon, 29, looks to be a replacement for free agent G Brandon Moore, who has been a very solid lineman for the Jets in recent years. If healthy, Colon should be an adequate replacement.

It wouldn’t be shocking to see them target another offensive lineman in free agency or the draft.
